Frances E. Grunwald
B.Pharm, RPh, BCGP
Frances Grunwald qualified as a Pharmacist in 1972 from The London School of Pharmacy, London, England with an Honours Degree, specializing in Organic Chemistry and Pharmacology. After moving to Toronto in 1979, she requalified and attained her PEBCs in 1982. After working in retail pharmacy for 8 years, she moved to a Clinical Pharmacy working at Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care for 6 years followed by West Park Health Care Centre for 14 years. Frances then moved to Clinical Consulting in Long Term Care facilities where she earned her Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacy (BCGP) qualification in 2007.
Frances has developed expertise in working with older people and managing diseases including Alzheimers and other Dementias, Behaviours related to Dementia, Depression and Anxiety, Diabetes, Parkinsons’ Disease, Cardiac disease, Pain management including side effects from the medications and pain and symptom control in Palliative care situations

She has identified a niche for patients to contact her for many different situations to provide information as well as help and understanding related to medications and diseases they are experiencing and follows her patients until successful resolution of their issues.
She is director of a successful Pharmacy Consulting Business where she is able to “fill the gaps” in existing services.
Frances is passionate about helping people. She provides her services on a voluntary basis to community-based organizations to provide much needed help in their programs.
